Peloponnese Roasted Sweet Red Peppers are from a special Greek variety of peppers called Florina which are a unique variety of fleshy, crunchy red peppers. They are bright scarlet, firm and full of flavor from ripening on the plant, grown for their long shape and thick walls – perfect for stuffing! They are grown in the Northern Greek regions of Macedonia and Thrace. Our roasted sweet peppers are marinated in brine made with real wine vinegar and lightly sweetened with grape must. The recipe possibilities are endless – stuffed with black bean chili, tuna or crabmeat salad, added to salads burgers or sandwiches. Also great for stuffing with cheese. They’re a great source of Vitamin C and anti-oxidants.

Peloponnese Grape Leaves come from the sultana variety vine well known for their good texture and flavor. Grape leaves are most commonly used for making dolmas (rice-stuffed grape leaves). We recommend removing the leaves from the jar, rinsing them thoroughly and blanching them in plenty of boiling water for about a minute. Try Peloponnese Grape Leaves for wrapping grilled fish, meat or vegetables. You can also use them as an attractive lining or garnish for cheese, shrimp and other platters.
